This week I’m in Chincoteague, Virginia completing my tour of the east coast. Last Friday I left Frederick for NYC, came back to Frederick on Sunday. Tuesday I drove up to Syracuse and left on Friday. On the way back home I stopped off in Lancaster to drop Brady off with my sister in law, and then continued on to Frederick. The next morning the hubs and I packed up and went off to Chincoteague, where we’ll be spending the next week with my family.
So, to sum things up I’ve spent the majority of the last week in the car.
Apparently during all of my traveling I have used up my internet bandwidth from AT&T. I’ve had the phone for a week. Are you kidding me? It may or may not have something to do with watching the entire first season of Modern Family online while the hubs was driving, but who’s keeping track?
All we’ve done this far has been sit on the beach. And by sit on the beach I mean I sit on the beach and the hubs sits under the umbrella, not wanting to expose his eggshell white skin to the sun. He puts his umbrella down for about five minutes each day to let his pasty skin get a few minutes of sun exposure.
The great thing about Chincoteague is that there is nothing to do. I mean nothing. Unless you want to play putt putt, your only option is to kick back and enjoy the beach. So that’s exactly what we’ve been doing. Sunny days at the beach, great food and even better happy hours.
