My entire weekend revolved around the hubs’ motorcycle. Aren’t you moving next weekend, you may ask. Yes, yes I am. Are we packed? No, no we aren’t.
But the hubs decided that THE WEEKEND BEFORE WE MOVE would be the proper time to take a full day Saturday motorcycle safety course. And Sunday would be spent driving the motorcycle to his parents house in Pennsylvania, because we can’t take it to the city with us.
At least the man was smart enough to tell me that I had been working really hard recently and I should treat myself to a new outfit. Yes he was just trying to keep me happy since we still had empty boxes scattering our living room that would clearly not be getting filled any time soon. He’s so thoughtful.
Then Sunday was spent taking his motorcycle to Pennsylvania, which seemed like a never ending task. Between stopping ten times for gas, stopping for a sit down lunch and getting stuck on one lane roads behind a driver going ten miles under the speed limit.
Twenty hours later and we finally got home and dedicated ourselves to going through our wardrobes and making piles for Goodwill. I don’t know where all of this stuff came from, but we filled the entire back seat of the car.
We’re finally making some progress.
