First you juice a whole lotta lemons (I did about 8 before I quit) and then add sugar and warm water. Put in the fridge until cool and then enjoy!
A couple years back when I was nannying the kids and I made a pitcher of homemade lemonade. The kids took away TWENTY DOLLARS EACH from their lemonade stand. I went into the venture thinking $5 total would be a success. But people started flocking the stand once they realized it was hand squeezed, homemade lemonade. We’re so used to the taste of the fake stuff that we forget how good the real stuff actually is.
Hubs requested his lemonade with a splash of seltzer and some mint. I enjoyed mine in all of its lemony glory. Both ways were fantastic.
Every time I open the fridge and see the pitcher sitting there I can’t help but to pour a little glass. This is what summer’s all about.
