Yesterday I decided that I was going to pick up a box of Honey Nut Cheerios on my way into the office. I can’t remember the last time I ate a bowl of cereal, but what mama wants, right? So I head to the cereal aisle, grab a box and head toward the register. As I’m turning around I catch a peak at a price tag that says $7.50. IN THE CEREAL AISLE. I turned back around to investigate more and sure enough the tag was for the Honey Nut Cheerios. I’m not talking family size box, this was a normal sized box. Seven dollars and fifty cents for one measly box of cheerios??
I was about to put them back because honestly, that’s just ridiculous, when I saw a promotional sticker that they were on sale for $5.
It might not be extreme couponing, but it’s something.
