Last weekend I went home to Maryland for my first of two baby showers. I was beyond touched at how many ladies from all different times and parts of my life gathered together to celebrate our little girl.
(You may recognize the BABY letters- I made them two years ago for a shower I was hosting and didn’t want to throw them out, so I kept them in my parent’s storage area. My mom remembered they were there and pulled them out for my shower!)
This may be my favorite thing from the shower- my mom hung up outfits that I had worn as a little girl. The sailor one is my absolute favorite!
They made pink heart shaped rice crispy treats since I don’t eat cake. Growing up my mom would make me rice crispy treat birthday cakes, so it was just appropriate to skip the cake at my shower as well. I even had a three tiered rice crispy treat wedding cake!
A special thanks to my Aunt Joan, my cousin Caroline and my mom for throwing the shower. You sure know how to make a lady feel like a million bucks!

What did Jon think of “bunny” & the letter to Baby Girl?
Oh — and his baby book!!
Adorable! Wish I coulda joined you. Your Aunt Joan, Caroline, and mom did such a great job!
So cute, but you lost me at the “I don’t eat cake” part.
