Jon had to travel the days leading up to Easter, so Adelaide and I took the train down to Maryland. Jon ended up flying in on Easter and driving back up with us. There of course was time to snap a few photos before we hit the road. Adelaide wasn’t really interested in posing for nice pictures, so we ended up swinging her and letting her run.
I had a great time visiting my family, as always, but the ride back was less than spectacular. The 3 hour drive ended up taking 6.5 and Adelaide didn’t sleep at all. But we finally made it back in time to put her to bed, unpack and crash. I absolutely love this age. Adelaide is getting into everything, and I love seeing her mind work as she explores new places, new textures, new everything. We’re headed to Toronto tonight (my first flight alone with her!) and I’m a little bit nervous and a lot excited.
